    PSS IFB 26-008
Cafeteria Projector and Display Integration for SSHS

    To: All Bidders
Please be informed of the following questions received and the Public School System's responses to the above-referenced IFB. This response is to provide clarification to the questions received from the Bidders, as listed below.
Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit to ensure that all questions and concerns are addressed.
    1. Where exactly is the projector screen intended to be installed — on which wall, and at what height from the floor?
The projector screen is intended to be installed on the wall with the glass windows, near the DJ booth. The exact height from the floor will depend on the screen size and specifications.
    2. What is the ceiling construction material and height at the proposed projector mounting location? (Concrete, steel deck, drywall, open truss?)
The area consists of a concrete structure with adjacent glass windows.
    3. Are there any overhead obstructions between the projector and screen (ceiling fans, HVAC ducts, structural beams, lighting fixtures)?
No, there are no overhead obstructions.
    4. Where are the two new 75" displays intended to be wall-mounted, and what is the wall construction (concrete block, drywall, CMU)?
The two new 75" displays will be wall-mounted on concrete walls.
    5. Where are the two existing televisions currently located, and what are their makes and models?
The existing televisions are mounted on the side walls of the cafeteria. Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit to verify make and model details.
    6. What are the make, model, and amplifier configuration of the existing PA system?
A new PA system is currently installed. Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit for full system details and configuration.
    7. Does the existing PA system have an auxiliary line-level input (RCA/XLR/3.5mm), or does it require a transformer-coupled 70V input?
This requires technical verification. Vendors are encouraged to assess during a site visit.
    8. Are there existing cable conduits or pathways between the proposed source location (podium/lectern) and the screen wall and TV locations?
No, there are no existing conduits or cable pathways.
    9. Where is the intended input/source location (laptop/computer connection point)? Is there an existing AV podium or lectern?
The primary input source will be laptops. A movable podium is available and may serve as the connection point.
    1. Is simultaneous display of identical content required at all times, or does the system need the ability to display different content on different screens?
The system should support both simultaneous display across all screens and the ability to display different content on individual screens.
    2. How many input sources are needed, and what types are they? (Laptop only? Desktop computer? Streaming device? Multiple sources?)
The primary input sources will be laptops.
We kindly ask you to review the questions and responses to ensure that all information is understood.

      Sincerely,

      Michael Jason A. Babauta
