Online Courses


The Student eLearning Gateway is an online learning program that offers high school courses for highly motivated students who are interested in advancement and who want to experience online learning. The courses are taught by Highly Qualified Teachers of the Public School System through the Student eLearning Gateway.

The CNMI Public School System offers the following courses through the Distance Education program.  Check with your secondary school counselor to see which courses are available this term:

Please see your secondary school counselor to sign up for online courses before the following deadlines:

Registration Period: August 16, 2017 – September 01, 2017

Withdrawal Request Deadline: September 15, 2017 (counselor approval required)

1st Quarter (Weeks 1-7): September 10 – October 28, 2017

2nd Quarter (Weeks 8-14): October 29 – December 16, 2017

Secondary online courses use an LMS from Coursesites by Blackboard Learn. Please orient yourself with Coursesites by visiting www.coursesites.com and clicking Student Orientation: Your Path to Success. Please check the sidebar to the right for minimum requirements and additional tutorials.

Withdrawal from Courses

Please withdraw with your school counselor before the withdrawal date.  You need to be removed from the registration roster and Coursesites if you have already accepted the course invitation. 

After the withdrawal date, you must have permission from both your counselor and eTeacher. This will only be allowed under certain circumstances.
