The Public School System Special Education Program is required to submit an annual grant application to the US Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) in order to receive special education federal funds. The grant application must be circulated for 60 days with a 30 day public comment period and public hearings must be conducted if there are new or revisions to the policies or procedures prior to the grant submission. The circulation period and public comment period and public hearing dates and locations are listed below. The grant applications, policies and procedures are available on the second floor of the PSS Central Office South Building. You can submit comments to the Public School System Special Education Office email your comments to Suzanne Lizama at suzanne.lizama@cnmipss.org.
