Parents are the first and most influential educators in their children’s lives and play a critical role in the educational outcome of children. Research on parent involvement indicates that students with involved parents are more likely to perform better in schools, on test scores, graduate and move on to higher education. Studies have also concluded that there is a direct correlation between student achievement and parent involvement.
As a public school system, we recognize the significance of the school, home, and community to build a partnership towards student learning and success. Thus, the goal for the parent community partnership strategic priority is:
